In Guangzhou, most major fabric markets, such as Guangzhou China Fabrics & Accessories Center (广州国际轻纺城), are clustered in Haizhu District near Sun Yat-sen University. This whole area is commonly known as the Zhongda Fabric Market cluster (中大纺织圈).

You can then head to Beilian Market (北联市场) in Keqiao, which specializes in curtain and window fabrics, to compare prices on more basic styles and look for sheer curtain fabrics. Haining and Keqiao are only about a 1.5-hour drive apart.

Located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, Dieshiqiao International Home Textile City is one of the largest home textile industry hubs in China and Asia.
It mainly focuses on finished home textile products, including bedding sets, quilt inserts, pillow inserts, silk quilts, and down comforters, while related fabrics are also available.
Stock fabric market in China: Shaoxing Paojiang
Shaoxing Paojiang Stock Fabric Market (绍兴袍江库存市场) specializes in stock fabrics.
Prices here can be up to 70% lower than in regular fabric markets. As mentioned above, Keqiao is backed by thousands of textile factories, many of which sell surplus, leftover, or canceled-order fabrics here.
Buyers pick directly from stacks of fabric on the ground, pay in cash, and write the name and shipping details on the package. Sellers will arrange delivery.
It is a good place for buyers looking for very low-cost stock fabrics and is especially popular with buyers from Africa. Experienced stock-fabric buyers usually visit the market in person, check the fabrics on site, and buy what they find.
